The History of the University

The History of the University Unit (HUU) conducts and supports research and publication about the history of the University of Melbourne. The project is funded by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Engagement), and is based in the Baillieu Library.

HUU develops its own research into the university’s people, associations and activities. It coordinate historical activitie, convene seminar, and has published analysis in two series, working Papers and Occasional Papers.

HUU is overseen by associate advisory cluster, and convenes a Reference cluster that provides a regular forum of those interested in the University history.
